running vim in rails console

Sometimes it becomes useful to run script in a rails console. The following blog posts talks about how it can be done.

But in short, put in the command that runs your text editor (vim, vi, or mvim) and that will open it up, write your script in there and save it and close the editor. then console will run your script.
